At the time this photo was taken this was the home of Glen and Mary Fussell who moved here in 1968 upon Glen's retirement from the US Air Force. Mary left in 2007 to move to Atlanta after Glen's passing in 2005. Glen was an avid gardener, evident here from the extensive cultivation of the backyard.

Yes - Dad was an avid vegetable gardener AND devoted to his Purple Martin's who nested each year in the pristine houses he cleaned after each nesting season and struggled to turn upright and ready. AND - we moved there in July 1969 after Daddy retired in May of that year in San Bernardino, California. Sweet memories.
