So much has changed. The little house in the middle is the only thing left, almost. The pond was filled in for TN hwy 305. The barn in the middle to the right and the old store building just above center we're also torn down for the highway. The larger house, barely visible behind a tree above right of the barn was sold and moved about a mile away. My grandfather took me to watch them pull the house out onto the Clearwater road. The old man who lived there rode away sitting on the back porch. The old Clearwater school is just outside the frame to the left. The lunchroom was and is still standing. This two room school was replaced around 1955 by E. K. Baker Elementary. Several other two room schools were also shut down.
