This home, historically known as the Cooke Place, was constructed in 1886 for John Lemuel Cooke (1860-1936), a top farmer at the time. The home was demolished in May of 2021 to make way for a new home, however the site has been grandfathered. Lemuel bought the land in 1883, and likely started construction on the home shortly after. He passed away at the home in 1936.
