My grandparents Troy and Libby Rich bought this farm in 1948. It was called the 4 Mile Lake Farm. They were married for 63 yrs. My granny passed away in 2010 and my grandpa passed away in 2019. I spent most of my life there growing up and helping them work the family business. Sad how it was sold and not kept in the family as they had wished it to be. Beautiful area and beautiful memories to go with it.
Grandpa farmed the land for 30yrs and wasn't doing very well so he went into Troy's New and Used Tire and Salvage yard on the place that gave them a good comfortable living while my granny did ceramics, paintings and other hobbies to help bring income. They both loved the farm with all their heart and loved when family visited them. Them and the farm were the cornerstone of the family. My grandparents told me alot of history of the area and their lives with it. Just to much to put down right now. The picture I have brings back so many fond memories. I wish I could find more of different years of the same place to go with this one. Thank you so much for doing what you did to make this picture possible.

This farm belonged to my parents, Troy and Libby Rick

All the tires are gone and the old house on the right
