CM Ulmer ranch main house

Man, I miss this place! My dad worked for Mr. Ulmer for YEARS! Lots of great memories!

What kind of ranch did Ulmer run? Could you share one of your favorite memories from the ranch?

He ran cattle. My dad was the ranch foreman and we lived there for years! Mr. and Mrs. Ulmer were always so nice and treated us like family. I remember jumping on the round hay bales we had put up for the winter and playing hide and go seek in the hay, climbing on all the stacks of feed in the feed room at the barn, working on tractors and trucks with my dad and the ranch hands, learning to drive on the ranch, opening and closing gates for my dad when we were out feeding. I could also ride my bike way back off into the ranch and come out on the dirt road right down from my grandparent's house.
