19010 Juergen Rd, Tomball. This farm, which still exists, straddles three Texas Surveys - two of which are A Roback, and C Juergen. Until 1979, this land was owned by John Robeck. John was the son of August Robeck (A. Roback survey) and Anna Maria Juergen. Anna Maria was the daughter of Charles Juergen (C. Juergen survey). Both August and Charles received their land through 'Preemption Grants' - a grant program in the state of Texas that allowed immigrants to claim vacant, public land. After certain criteria were met, the immigrant could title the land.
