Hello,
My name is Carolyn Jane Kubitza Brewer. I grew up on this farm back in 1950 until I married in 1966.
I came from a family of 10 children and our parents, Fred and Elizabeth Kubitza. After our parents passed away in 2009, we eventually sold the house and land to a young couple that adopted four children. It is nice to know that the remodeled interior of the still has children growing up there. My parents would be very happy to know that there is still a whole lot of life inside on their homeplace. The family also raise cattle too, like we did. I miss all of that, but I go to visit often. The large persimmon tree is still alive and growing the best fruit in McLennan County.
