I grew up on this farm back in the 60s-70s. My Daddy, Earl Caswell, still lived here at this time and my sister, Barbara, lived in the trailer house. In 2009, My husband and I bought from my sisters, 8 acres of this farm, including where the house and land to the south are. All of these buildings have since been cleared off, leaving only 7 or 8 of the big trees my mother planted over 50 years ago. We have since cleaned it up and built a weekend cabin. With my husband's hard work we have made this place a very lovely little oasis in the country. This year we built a beautiful barn that we can gather family for fun times and holidays. These pictures are wonderful and bring back many memories.
In fact, we have huge prints of both these hanging on the wall of our cabin. We had the pictures before we had the cabin! Thank you so much for this walk down memory lane!
