Lilypons Water Gardens, once located at 839 FM 1489. Lilypons was a branch of Lilypons Water Gardens, Inc. in Maryland. Lilypons Brookshire location was opened in the late 70's by Charles Thomas who hired Rolf Nelson from U. of Maryland to help with the startup. Twenty years later, Rolf and his wife Anita left Lilypons and started Nelson Water Gardens in Katy. Lilypons closed permanently in the early aughts.
