I grew up here. We lost barn in Sept 1956 due to hay combustion; in old square silo in barn. Buildings have been improved. Homestead and 10 acres now owned by daughter. 100 year celebration of homestead took place in 2015. Our grandfather purchased farm in 1915. Farm was owned by Gerard and Mariette Hamel since 1945. My folks sold farm to Jeannette and Terry Perkins in 1986.
