This is the Langhorne Tavern which my grandparents lived in until it was dismantled in the early 1990s. I loved this old home and so wish I could have purchased and repaired but it was in terrible shape. I currently live on the property and love finding history about the old home place.
If this is the old Langhorne's Tavern, Maurice Langhorne II (1719-1791) my 5th Great Grandfather once owned the tavern. The Old Foster Cemetery is next to Langhorne's Tavern. Peter Beasley Foster Sr. (1795-1879), is my 3rd Great Grandfather and is buried there. I am a Foster and a Langhorne and a member of the Jamestowne Society under John Langhorne and the Sons of American Revolution under Maurice Langhorne and George Foster.
