The left side of the propery has since been subdivided. All of the building remain but the large milk tanks are no longer there. It's now a 105 acre farm. My family has just recently purchased the property.

Hi Felesha,
What plans does your family have for the property? Do you know what kind of farm use to be there?

Paradise Hill Farm. Dairy farm in the Lomax family 1920-1987. Previously in the John A Weaver family 1906-1920, and before that was owned by the Carter family. Called Paradise Hill because the house sat on a knoll surrounded by “trees of paradise”, which are believed to be Mimosa trees, and now dot the surrounding landscape. The house is ancient, and should be in the Register of Historic places due to many events occurring in and around it. The silos mentioned previously stored grain and were not milk tanks. The milk was trucked away daily during operation.
