My daddy,Calvin Tuck bought this store in 1973. He added on numerous times to serve the people of the community. He built my mother a flower and garden shop on the property for the same purpose. I worked there as a teenager until moving back to Richmond. In 1996, my brother, Mike, took it over and ran it until Food Lion came in a mile up the road. So much for the ma and pa grocery stores😔 It is now a NAPA store.
