This was the Claude Lance property, now known as 653 Dobbins Hollow Rd., Riner, VA. He raised his family there and they owned it for nearly forty years. He passed away and his widow sold it to an attorney in Blacksburg, from whom my husband and I bought it in 2011. We are in Floyd County, but across the street is Montgomery County.
