I believe this is Rosebower, which was built in the 1700's. My great-great grandparent's owned it from the mid-1800's until it finally went out of the Allen Family in the 1970's. At the time of this photo it was owned by Hampden-Sydney professor Tom O'Grady and his wife Bronwyn. They had completely renovated the house and it was beautiful. They also had a winery for a number of years, as you can see the vineyard in the photo. As of 2021 it is still owned and lived in by the O'Gradys, but the vineyard and winery are no longer in existence.
The property is on Allen Farm Road. (The road was named for this property.)
