The structure in the center of this photo no longer exists. It was torn down in circa 2005. There is newer structure in its place. The house in the bottom right corner still exists today as 2240 Chestnut St. It was built by Jeff Jeffords in the mid to late 1980's. For a while, the lower part of this house was used as a gun store and the upper part was living quarters. The gun store is long gone and the entire structure is one single-family home. The structure behind it is a house that was built in the 1930's and it has undergone several facelifts over the years and is held today (2019) by Joe Bailey who uses it as a rental property. The structure in the top right of the photo is an outbuilding with a ladder attached to the side. That building still exists today and looks the same as in the photo. The house to the left of that outbuilding still exists. Notice on Chestnut Street that the pavement ends near the utility pole. The road is still the original concrete to that same point but the gravel road was later paved in blacktop as it remains today.
