This is the Richard & Yvonne Chapek Farm 10 miles North of Cadott on Hwy-27 just north of Crescent. This is where me and my 4 siblings grew up. From here it was expanded even further with two Harvestor silos and a large free-stall barn. Now... well now it has totally disappeared. After my parents sold this place it went rapidly downhill under new ownership and without the routine maintenance our family provided quickly deteriorated. The final blow was when the house (as one of the few remaining structures) burned down in 2017. Many people remember this place as a model farm from the early 60's to mid-80's and many folks I encounter remember it well. Like all good things it has now come to an end and we only have our memories and pictures like this to fall back on. Another generation and it will be gone forever.

Artic Cat snowmobile dealership also. Almost all buildings gone and a grain drying/storage facility erected here nowadays.
