I lived in the house from about 1954 until 1965, along with my four sisters and parents. My parents sold the farm to my next younger sister and her husband. The original barn burned in 1962, the replacement is the first section. The house addition to the south was added on by my sister and husband. They expanded the farm with milking parlor and facilities. Sister's son assumed ownership of the farm and made further changes.
Our son, Kirk Haslow and his wife Rosa probably spent more time on this farm than we did. The house is part log built pre 1900. No date of when the original 1 story log was changed to a story and a half with the wing to the west. Originally it was homesteaded by Otto Foelske’s parents or grandparents.
