My father was raised on this property long, long before this photo was taken. He lived there from 1917-1933. He grew up in that house nestled in those trees and he worked on that farm which at that time was owned by George and Sadie Redman.
I have never had the pleasure of seeing it as I live in the southeastern U.S. The reason I know about this property is because I have been searching for years for information about where my father grew up. I finally found out! I found the current owners of this property and have learned much of it’s history. I will one day visit it and walk the property where my dad grew up as a farm boy.
