I currently live here, we bought it in 2020. The house is the same, except we put vinyl siding on it. The small building directly to the right of the house is not there- but there is a concrete cistern under it. The corn crib- directly to the left of the big barn is no longer there, just the concrete. Otherwise, all buildings are still standing.
It sure looks different today as a working cattle farm!
Hi Nicole,
What has been the best part about living on this property? How many heads of cattle do you raise on the farm?
Hi Alexis, the best part-- the views, privacy and the connection to nature! We absolutely love it here! It is a perfect property to graze cattle-we have planted all the cropland into pasture and raise anywhere between 12-15 pairs on our cow/calf operation.
When we moved in, we were given an intensive farm history (some parts may have been a little dramatic) and it was very interesting to read through and get a feel for the history of the place.
