In 1958 this was the Jacob Miller farm, Section 1 Rt 3, Columbus, Bristol Township, Dane County, Wisconsin.
As of 2019, google maps shows this as R & G Miller and Sons, 1706 Co Rd V, Columbus, Dane County, Wisconsin.
The small wooden structure in the center front of photo (in front of dark silo, to right of low/long building with many white window frames) was the first cabin of Mr. Joseph Schmidt, built in October 1845 by Bonifez Link, and was where Rev. Max. Gaertner held some of the first Catholic Masses for that community, starting in 1847. This building was later moved to the Sacred Hearts Day Care at 315 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie, and then was moved again in 2000 to the William & Jane Skalitzky home at 2015 Greenway Road, northeast of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, off Interstate 151.
