This is my family's former farm on Kittleson Road, in the southwest part of Dane county. At the time this photo was taken, 1977, it was a dairy farm owned by my grandparents, Truman and Else Kittleson. I lived here with my parents and sister for several years during the 1980s. It's no longer owned by anyone in the family and has changed quite a bit since this was taken. The house was torn down around 2005 or so, and a new house built near the location of the old one. There hasn't been any livestock on the farm since the 1990s, so much of the area is now overgrown with brush/shrubbery/trees. Sadly, the barn is gradually collapsing.
