the farm i was raised on

Hi,
This is the farm that I and my 11 siblings our parents called home from 1948 to 1987

My grandpa (Theodore Weier) and grandma's (Annabelle Weier) farm outside of Mineral Point Wisconsin. My mom (Judith Ann Weier - Dagle) was the second oldest of 10 brothers and one sister. Grandpa added a pond with a dam behind the house. The countryside had many more vehicles than those which appear in this photo as grandpa salvaged metal & used them for spare parts to build other things.

Great memories visiting my grandpa and grandma weier at their house, many family reunions and lots of great times!!!

My Aunt and Uncle lived on this farm for along time. I spend a lot of time out there. It has change some since my aunt Ann and my uncle Teddy Weier lived. there .

Many warm Family memories created here. I was the 2nd girl of 10 brothers (5 older and 5 younger). Life was so simple then. Worked hard and developed character....we actually could use this today.

The Ted Weier Farm

I have many, many fond memories of being at Aunt Annie's and Uncle Ted's farm. They had a large family, and so did we! Yes, we filled that big house for sure when we visited. I remember laughter and chaos at the farm, all so welcome because it seemed like work, work, work at our farm. I remember Annie's wanting to fill us with good food and seeing her flowers and visiting the pond. And I remember Uncle Teddy's big smile, bib overalls, and his love of hotdogs--and of course, his relentless hard work. Such wonderful, happy memories!
