This is where I was born and raised. My grandfather owned Schmidt Machine Co. This is such a an awesome photo!! Is there any way I can purchase a copy of it?? And yes sooooo much has changed. The back corn field where I once got lost for like 4 hours and would go snowmobiling is now all houses. There was another structure added to the back of the property, most trees were removed, gardens covered. Every time I drive by I think of all the wonderful memories. When the ditch would freeze in winter I would ice skate on it, until I fell through once. The next year my grandpa flooded a spot and made me my own mini rink..I could go one for days!!
