This is the Hynek family farm, which has been in the family since the 1850's. Jan Hynek immigrates to the US from Bohemia in about 1843 (at age 5 with parents Simon and Katherina) and marries Anna Kalcik -- and their son is Wencel ("Big Jim") Hynek who farms here till about 1950.
