Seering homestead

It’s my 2x great grandfather’s home. Also where my great grandfather, and grandpa lived and farmed. Our family heritage is heavily based on this farm.

We milked cows here in he late 80s. The date in the barn was from the 1880s so it was over 100 years old at the time. We had a rope tied to the rafters upstairs where we would swing from the mow, out the doors and then land back in loose hay on the floor. The last time I swung out...and kept going, landing on the barn hill and breaking my arm. I also busted my front tooth out behind that silo. Good times!
