I grew up here!

Ruth & Clarence Sherry farm. Previously owned by Orbec and Mable Sherry who acquired farming fame with the Brown Swiss Cattle breed association. They were the breeders of a Brown Swiss cow named "Jane of Vernon" who is known throughout the breed as the "Mother of the Brown Swiss Breed". Just about all of the Brown Swiss breed of cattle of today, can be traced back to the fabulous Jane of Vernon. She was bred by Orbec and Hilda Sherry.

This farm was previously owned by Ole Sherry, Clarence ' s father. Never by Orbec, Clarence ' s cousin. I grew up here too.
