Como School

I attended this school in the 1970s. It ceased to be a school after the 1982 school year ended. I has several businesses in it now.

Hi boobird3, thanks for sharing that memory with us! It's interesting to hear that the school closed just a few years after this photo was taken. Do you remember anything specific about attending school there in the 1970s? What was your favorite thing about attending this school?

The school was small; the gym doubled as a lunchroom. In fact, the girls and boys had to take turns using the one locker room. When we had basketball games, there was standing room only on the sidelines. Originally, it housed grades 1-8, but when I attended it was K-6.
