This farm was called Maple Cliff Stock Farm owned and operated by my family- Robert and Suzanne (Ketcham) Key. It has been in the family since 1907 and was awarded the Wisconsin Century Ownership Certificate for 100 years of family ownership. It was originally bought in 1907 by David Key from Wm Meadows and previously owned by Wm. Burton in 1901. It consisted of 165 acres. The original house burnt down in 1930 and the red brick house was then built in the same location. My grandparents Walter and Grace Key would serve chicken dinners to weary travelers from Chicago heading to Milwaukee.
