Shed near road in front of barn says "Ray Broecker & Family".
I grew up on this property. Owned by my grandparents since 1945. My brother owns it now. Still visit and love the place.
My great grandparents owed the farm then my Grandpa Ray Broecker owned it and now my Uncle Joe and aunt Janice Broecker own the farm. I have a lot of memories here with the family. I live in Florida and when I come up I always have to go to the farm ❤️❤️
Hi Roxanne, thank you for sharing your family's connection to this farm! We'd love to hear more about your memories there. What was it like growing up on a farm in Wisconsin? Has much changed since this photo was taken in 1979? -Alexis
Roxanne is my brother Earl Broecker's daughter. This is Joy Broecker Wallace. My father Ray Broecker and his father August Broecker owned this property since 1940's. My brother Joe Broecker now owns it with his son Jason Broecker. I went to 1st. grade at Kohlsville one room schoolhouse until they built Wayne Elementary. Best place in the world to grow up.
Hi Joy! Thank you so much for sharing your personal connection to this property. We love hearing these kinds of stories from our Vintage Aerial customers. It sounds like you have many fond memories of growing up in Washington County. Can you tell us more about what the area was like during the 1970s? Or perhaps what has changed about the land over time? We would love to hear more from you!
