Photo 29-PWAS-8

I grew up here. Total acreage at the time was 80, 1950. Farm was sold to a neighbor about 1981, and has sold one or two times more since, and been divided into at least 4 parcels. The long machine shed in the center and corn crib behind are now gone. Not the pride in upkeep today, which is saddening. The Highway 21 is now a 4 lane passing lane which took away part of the front lawn and the two pine trees shown. The two large trees are Silver Maple and were planted about 1952 and were the diameter of a broom stick handle, they still stand as towers.
