Photo 47-IWO-29

This picture was taken just after the new house was built. We don't have the lawn finished which took about two years. Farmers have to work in the field when the sun is out and have time for extra work only when it is raining. Hard to work on the lawn if it is raining. The shed to the left in the picture has doubled in size. The building past the attached garage on the house has been replaced with a new two-car garage. The pile of corn by the shed in the background now has a corn crib located in the place. The biggest change is there are no longer cows on the farm. We are now "crop framers." Also the two children that were raised here are on their own; one lives a mile from the farm and one lives 970 miles for us. This will never be a second generation farm.
