—Evelyn EdmundsThis is a picture of Circle E Farm in Clover SC taken in 1980. The Brooder house was built in 1978 and housed 24, 000 turkeys from one day old until 8-10 weeks old. Then these birds were ranged on the farm until they were 21-24 weeks old. We grew turkeys from April to November. The birds were hand-loaded by a crew of helpers to be shipped out. Five more houses have been added since this picture was taken and the operation now grows over 600,000 turkeys per year. The Angus cattle herd was started in 1969. The family has shown cattle throughout the United States for over 40 years and continues to show and sell Registered breeding stock.
