This was the old "Snieders" (spelling?) grocery store on Rt. 1 Biddeford, where Cole Street Cafe is now in that area. Snieders moved to West Street in Biddeford for a while before it closed.

This was owned and operated by the St. Amand family and was called Ten Acres Cabins. They also had a pest control business. Tom St. Amand is now an excellent acupuncturist and owns Family Acupuncture Center on Rt. 1 in Kennebunk.

This is the beginning of the Lamppost Cabins and Campground mobile home park, owned and operated by my parents Maurice and Cecile Dion and their 10 children. It was part of the 15 acre property located at the intersection of Rt. 1 and the Log Cabin Road, and we built the green ranch home located on Log Cabin Road (first one on the right as you head toward Kennebunkport). The mobile homes and log cabins were sold off in the early 1980s. and the property was subdivided and sold.
