Late 19th - early 20th century farm complex. House is colonial revival circa 1910 with PA bank barn across street. Located on Pinetown Road just west of Lewisberry toward Roundtop Mountain. Is now "Whispering Pines Estate" and operated as a wedding venue. Majority of buildings extant with some loss of a few of the poultry houses. Lewisberry, York County, PA

Kauffman's grist mill constructed 1786 and associated farmstead complex. Silver lake was the mill-pond which fed the head race to power the mill. The mill race is still intact. Tail race used to feed into Bennett's Run towards town. The cross gabled folk Victorian style house was constructed by Civil War veteran following the war - circa 1870. All buildings extant. Late 18th century diversified farm complex. Still intact with some modifications. Near Lewisberry, York County, PA. Allegedly a station on the underground railroad - possible given the UGRR activity in Lewisberry - but unconfirmed. Have worked on the farm feeding horses.

Mid-19th century farm stead, Pleasant Hill Road, on border of Newberry and Warrington Townships, Lewisberry, PA. As a kid we played guitar and would have fires and camp out in the pastures. We'd also play with the pigs in the pigsty and groom horses in the forebay of the bank barn. House is roughly 1840 and other house was constructed in the 1950's.
