What we all called “Claytons” because mr Clayton operated this store and I remember walking from the house through the fields to return my glass Coke bottles and to get a few 5c pieces of gum.
Mr. Clayton operated this store as long as his health would allow.

This is Beaverdam Baptist Church. This is the church where I accepted Christ as my savior and our home sat behind this church in 1993.

Holly’s General Store in Fair Play. Sadly this little country store has shut down and is for sale.
I remember well driving the lawn mower there to get gas or a snack long before able to legally drive.

This is the store that sits in the Crossroads area on HWY 24 (West Oak HWY) and HWY 59.
It’s no longer called Blackwells but Crossroads #2... there is a Pioneer Water tower close to the area where that single wide to the left is sitting.
There’s no longer garage bays or that cool 76 sign :(

Ralph’s store and trophy shop on HWY 59, long before it moved to its current location on Wells HWY. This store is still in operation however it’s has gone through renovation and the gas pumps are to the side of the store instead of in front.
