This house was next door to us. I cannot remember who lived their but we had six acres so plenty of room and now many years later, two more houses have been crammed between our house and this one.

I believe this was the Schlageter's house, and JoAnn sold my mom and dad the property to build their home in 1971.

This house was across the lake from our house. The pine trees were planted later, and last time I was in Covington years ago now, the house is not visible from the road because of the number of trees that surround the house.

Again, in the 1970s when we lived in Deerfield, this house belonged to the Bailey family. Mr. Bailey owned Colony Realty, and David Bailey was one of my best friends. We used to ride motorcycles together back before everything got grown up around Deerfield. I've been at this house many times.

This looks like the Howard's place, again from the 1970s. Connie Howard is who I remember lived here at the time. We all went to Newton Co. High together.

The Courchesne's lived here when we moved to Deerfield in the 1970s. I probably got the spelling wrong on their name.

I remember this house when it was being built, again back in the 1970s. I think a family named Smith had it built, and it was unusual at the time for the steep pitched roof which was uncommon during that period.

I believe this is the house where Bobby and Holly Thompson lived back in the 1970s. Their father built many of the houses in this subdivision from what I remember.

I believe this is the house where Beth Elmore lived. I had a crush on her in high school! I didn't know her parents or anything about them, but the house itself is a very classy, brick rancher.
