Mt Hope Church. Rev. George William Welker started the church when Brick Church split. He is buried in the cemetery here.

Another view of 2966 Mt Hope Church Road with the large barn that can be seen today 2024. This used to be the land that Woods School used to sit on upon James Robert Woods land. His house sat on the land to the right (can see partial hill at top right corner of this photo). This also used to be James' farm land.

2825 Mt Hope Church Road. The old driveway is blocked off with a gate. The dock at the pond still has no boards on top as it did when this aerial photo was taken.

2966 Mt Hope Church Road. Woods School used to sit further down on this property closer to McPherson Clay Road but was gone long before James Robert Woods died. Was James Robert Woods property until he died & went to probate and sold at auction by the family in 1913. The rest was farm land. The other side of Mt Hope Church Rd sat James Robert Woods' house and 263 acres upon which it sat along Beaver Creek. It has been farm land for many years & it is unknown when the house was torn down but apparently after the property was sold at auction and has been corn fields for decades. James Robert Woods owned another 50 acres which was also sold.

2907 Mt Hope Church Road. Map on vintage aerial shows location on McPherson Clay Rd at road to the south but it is to the north on Mt Hope Church Road on the right side.

6747 McPherson Clay Road. Used to have an oval & round horse riding ring over at the right of the property along the driveway & by long white building. Driveway etc used to be kept up but not as well now, more grass/partial gravel.
