White House is home of the Late W.H Truax. The original 90 acres has been sub divided by this time and only 20 acres and all the out buildings remain in the family. Wood frame house behind the barn is the home of W.H. Truax’s grandson, under construction at the time of this picture. The little White House is gone now along with the surrounding out buildings, the white barn still stands along with the now completed wood frame house. The lot that once was the home of W.H Truax is now owned by myself, his great grandson, a new Truax family home is being constructed in the location of the original! It is great to see these old pictures!

Murray and Elezibeth Trumbo estate. Dary and tobacco operation the large federal style brick house built in the 1850's is still standing today. Hard to see it for the trees in the yard, but great to see a snapshot of the old farm in full working order!
