I went there in the 1970's. Boyfriend tended bar. I remember going there before midnite mass at catholic church next door on christmas eve. A lot of people did that.

It is Juggs tavern now. I went to wedding dances there in the 1970's. Beer bar on second floor with dance hall. Liquor bar downstairs. In the top corner you can see the back pond of kohlsville pond. Beautiful walk if you exit from the dancehall on second floor. Original hitching posts were there for horses.

I went to confirmation classes there. Many relatives buried in the graveyard. In the seventies Revend Fierabend was pastor. I was friends with his son Chip. Wayne elementary is just to the left through the graveyard and past the trees. I would travel this distance during breaks to look at Chips collection of National Geographic magazines. Good memories.

I went to this school from the day it opened until 6th grade. The school was brand new then it was built to replace a one-room school house I went to in 1st. grade. Kohlsville elementary. Still used today.

This was called Hillside Tavern when I lived there maybe 40 years ago. Served beer and tavern pizza.

This is the site of old Marx one room schoolhouse. My family has owned it off and one for many decades. Now belongs to my nephew. He has remodeled it and it is much changed.

I grew up on this property. Owned by my grandparents since 1945. My brother owns it now. Still visit and love the place.
