This is where I grew up and still live at today

Hi Tiffany!
We'd love to hear more about your memories growing up there. What are some of your fondest memories? Has the town changed much since 1982? We'd love to hear your take on any changes over the years.

It’s changed completely there is no barns or grain bins. The house is still there, my brother bought it after our pawpaw passed. So the outside of it still looks the same remodeled the entire inside. My fondest memories was sitting under the pecan tree talking to my pawpaw while he sat swinging in his swing after he came in from the fields. Or rocking in the rocking chair talking to my grandma shelling peas after getting done picking them all us kids every morning during the summer time. There are a lot of trees in the photo that we no longer have. The trailer and house over to the left were torn down and cleared away. I remember being so scared to have to walk back home once the sun went down and having to pass that old house so I would call home to have my mom or dad go outside and watch for me cause once I got to that old house I was running for my life. I wish there was a better pick of that area and to the left of it too. There use to be an old smoke house and couple other structures but I can’t really see them but they were there during this time. I was born in 1981 and they were there while I was a child. Oh the memories. If I could go back to that time.
