Buckeye United Methodist Church. Main building built in 1865 an it had 2 front doors. In 1922 a basement was added as was the steeple and front. Now in 2017 it is still standing with a small but active congregation. My family moved here and joined the church in 1943 and I am still attending. Back then the church was the activity center of the neighborhood. I was married there in 1950 and we raised our 7 children to attend church. Harold, my husband died in 2012 and his funeral was held in the church.
