This is a great Web site! I used to walk up and down Schmale road when it was gravel. My cousin and his friends used to shoot clay pigeons with shotguns at the railroad tracks by the old radio tower. That area is a storage unit now. I used to shoot my bb gun down the tracks. I used to live in Glendale Heights and remember the old farm where TGIF is now. I remember when it became vacant going through the old house and Barns. I loved reminiscing
about what life was like 100 years ago around here.
