Do you have a personal connection to Leota and John Antoine or this property? Do you remember what kind of farm they had on the property?

Leota and John Antoine were neighbors to us. Dad Leo shared farm work - baled hay and picked corn - with Johnnie and his brother Charles F "Doc" Antoine (married my aunt Rose Jacquot in 1943). This farm was a livestock and grain farm in 1950s and 1960s. Now my two brothers, Charles and Ed, farm this ground. Antoine descendants now own ground with farm house and buildings. Darren Antoine enjoys hunting on his grandfather's land. No livestock now in 2023.
