This is a picture of the Iroquois county 4-H and Agricultural Fair. It was built starting in 1960. The land was originally CCC camp in the 1930's. The Iroquois County Farm Bureau bought the Land and sold it to the 4-H clubs of the county on contract.
All of the buildings and other infrastructure were built and paid for by the 4-Hers with financial help from the state tax on Paramutual betting at Illinois race tracks. Iroquois County has one of the strongest 4-H programs in the state.Volunteer help is what makes this fair tremendous.
