Can’t remember his name, but the mayor of Hainesville lived here late 50’s-early 60’s .Intersection of rt134&rt120
44 W. Belvidere Rd., looking NW. The house was built in 1883 and is still standing today, now the home of a fire restoration service. The garage underneath has since been made into a doorway and the driveway has been diverted to the right side of the house. Barn is gone and has been replaced by a larger garage/storage structure.
Mayor Finch lived in this house back in the 50’s. .We lived south on Hainesville rd. on the Grayslake Gelatin Farm
