The Fox Lake Baptist Chapel located at 27430 W. Nippersink Rd in Ingleside. was located here in 1961. In 2007, the name was changed to CrossPoint Church. In 1955, Bible classes were held in various locations in the Fox Lake area. Since 1961, services have been held at this location and an addition was built at the end of 1976.

My grandmother Angelina Lombardo started the Fox Lake Baptist Church and opened her home to worshipers every Sunday in a room my grandfather added to their home on Rolland Pl. At some point parishioners then rented. The lower level of a home on W. Grand Avenue in the mid 50’s
