As I recall this house was located on W. Gilmer Rd. just northwest of S. Fish Lake Rd. in Wauconda Township southeast of the Village of Volo. Since this photo, a section of the now W. Old Gilmer Rd was cut off and is only accessible off of N. Callahan Rd. N. Callahan Rd. was extended to a T-intersection off W. Gilmer Rd. southeast of S. Fish Lake Rd. across from the Singing Hills Forest Preserve. On the satellite map you can see the remnants of W. Gilmer Rd from N. Callahan Rd. running north past S. Fish Lake Rd.
