This wasAngelo's restaurant at the NW corner of Bonner Rd and Old Rand Rd in Wauconda. JJ Twiggs restaurant is now on that location.
Angelos was our usual friday night restaurant with the family back in the 70s😁👍🏽

Angelo's Sunset Inn was known for their Italian food especially the spaghetti and pizza. Growing up in the 60s in Wauconda it was always a treat when dad would give mom a break from cooking and he would take us to Angelo's for dinner. It was nothing like mom would make at home. A number of years ago the location became the home of J. J. Twigs Pizza and the building has been completely remodeled inside and out.
