Bill & Ann Steffenhagen bought this property on IL Route 60 (east of Peterson Road) and built a very successful Wheelhorse garden tractor dealership. Later, Mack Truck was added with a new large repair garage and diesel tractor truck showroom. Eventually, Illinois Central Trucking bought the Northern Illinois Mack truck enterprise.
